About Tooth whitening Services

We provide three teeth bleaching options to cater to different preferences:
(a) In-office blue light bleaching: This procedure is performed at our practice and typically takes 45 minutes spread over 1-2 visits. The bleaching is done using a blue light and is supervised by our dental professionals.

(b) Customized home bleaching: We offer custom-made trays that fit your teeth perfectly. These trays are filled with bleaching gel of varying concentrations, and you can wear them for a couple of hours during the day or overnight for approximately 2 weeks.

(c) Take-home bleaching products like the Snow whitening system: This option allows you to whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home. The Snow whitening system is designed to be used for around 4 weeks, providing flexibility and convenience.

For those seeking efficient and convenient teeth whitening, our in-office Zoom!®️ teeth whitening is an ideal choice. In just one office visit, this procedure can significantly lighten the shade of your teeth. The whitening formula contains hydrogen peroxide and is activated by a special light. The powerful combination effectively removes years of stains, often resulting in teeth that are up to ten shades whiter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tooth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure that aims to lighten the color of your teeth and remove stains or discoloration. It can be done in various ways, including professional treatments performed by a dentist or at-home whitening kits.

Tooth discoloration can be caused by several factors, including aging, consumption of certain foods and beverages (such as coffee, tea, red wine), tobacco use, poor oral hygiene, certain medications, and dental trauma. Additionally, natural variations in tooth color can occur due to genetics.

When done under the supervision of a dental professional and following the instructions provided, tooth whitening is generally considered safe. However, some people may experience temporary tooth sensitivity or gum irritation during the process. It’s important to consult with your dentist before whitening your teeth to ensure it is appropriate for your oral health.

Tooth whitening can be highly effective for most people, but the results can vary depending on the type and extent of tooth discoloration. Yellowish stains tend to respond well to whitening treatments, while brown or gray stains may be more challenging to lighten. Additionally, tooth whitening treatments may not be effective on dental restorations such as crowns, veneers, or fillings.

There are several tooth whitening methods available:

  • In-office professional whitening: This involves a dentist applying a high-concentration bleaching agent to your teeth and activating it with a special light or laser.
  • At-home whitening trays: Custom-made trays are filled with a lower-concentration bleaching gel provided by your dentist. You wear these trays for a specified time each day.
  • Over-the-counter whitening products: These include whitening toothpaste, strips, gels, and rinses that are available without a prescription. They have lower concentrations of bleaching agents compared to professional treatments.
